Leg raises lying with partner

At the same time, you have the opportunity to perform the lying leg raises with a training partner. In this section, you will find comprehensive information on leg raises while lying down with a training partner.

Body position

During the lying leg raise with a partner, one athlete lies on their back on the floor, while the other athlete stands directly behind their head. The legs of the athlete lying down are close together, and their entire body is tense. To ensure stability, the athlete lying down holds onto their partner's legs with both hands.

Movement execution

At the beginning of the exercise, you lift your legs upwards. They are almost fully extended. Only the upper back and the head remain on the ground. As the lying partner, you extend your legs far enough for the training partner to reach them. Subsequently, the standing partner grasps the raised legs to enhance stability in the end position and, consequently, to maintain muscle stimulation over an extended period. Then, upon inhaling, you return to the initial lying position.
