Lower leg stretching with the Theraband (stretching)

An effective method for intensively stretching the lower legs is to combine calf stretching in a lunge with a Theraband. In the lunge position, you place yourself with the front leg slightly bent, providing stable support. The back leg is almost fully extended. While maintaining an upright upper body, a Theraband is attached to the front ankle, anchored behind you. To achieve a deep stretch in the calf, shift your weight forward without lifting your feet off the ground. To further enhance the stretch, you can pull the toes of the front foot upward in conclusion.
