Calf stretching on the stairs (stretching)

To stretch the calf muscles at home, you can use a staircase. This allows for an increased range of motion and enhanced stretching.

Body position

Start by positioning yourself on two different steps. Only the balls of your feet touch the respective steps, while your heels hover in the air. Keep your body upright, gaze forward, and the leg is nearly fully extended.

Movement execution

To achieve a stretch in the back leg, lower the heel downwards. Maintain the position to stretch the calf muscles on the backside. Subsequently, switch sides.
