Sitting cable crunches

You can perform seated cable crunches with the assistance of a weight bench. To do this, place the weight bench directly in front of the cable pulley. In the following section, you will receive all the necessary information to assume the correct body position and execute the movement precisely.

Body position

Sit at the end of the weight bench with your back facing the cable pulley. Ensure your feet are firmly planted on the ground. The cable is attached to the upper block of the cable pulley, and you hold the cable directly behind your head. Keep your gaze forward, and in the starting position, maintain an upright posture.

Movement execution

To begin the seated cable crunches, lean your upper body forward. Your elbows move toward your thighs, and your hands remain behind or beside your head. During this downward motion, curl your upper body and exhale simultaneously. Then return to the upright starting position while taking a deep breath.
